Second Semester Reminders**No food or drink (except water) allowed in my class room! A current event with summary is due at the beginning of class on the last scheduled class day of the week. Planning periods 1st period: 0810-0955 (Maroon days) 6th period: 1005-1145 (Gold days) Psychology (2nd period) Lecturing on Human Development and Piaget's cognitive development theories.
We are covering the unit on SW Asia (Middle East) during the first three weeks of the fourth quarter. Test will be on SW Asia on May 2. After that, we will start our final unit on Asia.
Government
(5th period) We are finishing up the unit on the Executive Branch. Booknotes are due Friday, April 25. There will be a test on the unit on May 1. Then we'll finish up the quarter with the Judicial Branch.
We are currently working on class structure and social stratification. We'll finish up the unit sometime next week and plan on the first test being on May 1. The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.-Vince Lombardi |
